Good. Broody hen (did I tell you that?), eggs in the bator. You?

So my cat has been catching a lot of mice. I see them all mangled on the ground, But then... they keep disappearing. I thought maybe she was eating them. Until I caught the culprit. Our dog keeps eating them. It is all a big system. (Chickens attract mice, cat kills mice, and dog eats mice) By the time my dog gets to them though, they are all frozen.

My dog kills mice.

No, I did not know, but that's cool! I have a horrible time trying to hatch eggs. One of my hens is sick, so I'm trying to take care of her, but other than that I was finally able to break an extremely stubborn egg-eater.

Luke, I built ANOTHER rabbit pen. It took me about two hours to build the frame and put it together and then another half hour to 45 minutes to wire it up. All its missing is the roof.

Snooki (my other silkie hen) went broody this morning!

When KFC got off the nest to get food and water, Snooki tried to steal KFC's eggs so I put a golf ball and a couple eggs in another nest and put her down beside it and she got on the nest and shoved the eggs under herself.

Yeah! Ah, I hope she gets better. Good!

She now has an appetite! I've got her on a bunch of herbs and some amoxicillin, because I suspect she may have a respiratory disease. She's improving, though.
