I understand when birds that meet SOP, get placed different on different days by different judges. What I don't understand is when birds w/obvious DQ's, get placed at all. From pictures I've seen, I don't know that I've seen a standard cochin that meets SOP. I'm ok w/that as that is someone's bird but for a judge to place it..........

Just like I'd love to have some dominiques but can't stand the DQ's...... I know, I'm picky some would use a not so kind word in place of..........

? My inviting him to look at my birds?

No you just happened to post a few minutes before I did I was talking to Black Creek. Sorry I honestly dont take bad critisms personally. I just show, and see what happens I can only do so much

Thats true, take it with a grain of salt, but some of these people are like cutting a lemon in half and sticking it in your mouth, or chug a big glass of cider vinegar. or not a pleasant experience. After a long day of work you look forward to little Relaxing and enjoyment only to get lemon..Opinions are great, we Read tons of opinions, both critical and nice. but some are a little over the top ,. I just talked to APA judge for an hour on the phone yesterday he has strong opinions about things, at the same time he wants more than anything to be help....You earn respect you dont beat somone to get it..That was the way I felt about him , he left me respecting him...That judge and I have the same breed, so he is helping culling down my birds and selling me some new breeding birds ect..., he is top in 4 states with this breed, MD PA NY NJ.. Im just saying your dealing a lot with the public and if you be a judge someday I think they send some people to a little charm school or take an oath of compassion or something befor they turn them loose on the public at large.
