There is a time and place for shenanigans. (edit: THIS is that time and place)

Epic indeed ! Hocker stalked and then blasted the two trash talking 'champions'. USA darn near got silver also.
If he would have gotten through that first time when he got blocked out, he probably would have an even better time. And, his teammate following him we would have got the Silver. It was so close for silver, anyway, inches.

They’re not in Florida, so obviously there aren’t gators.
You do know that gators are not exclusive to Florida, right? I can go find one within throwing distance real quick. Then, you have Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina. And, they have even been found further north.

I remember here when it used to be that you never, or rarely, saw one, but they are easy to find now. They just keep moving north. Nearly every public water will have "Watch for Gators" signs now. They have always been here, but much more abundant now.

The first time I saw one I was in my boat bass fishing in a slough on the river. I couldn't believe it. I called a local Game Warden that I knew and told him there were gators on the river, and he laughed and said "No ****".

You are a runner, you need to watch it. It was really epic. It will go down as one of the best Olympic 1500's ever. And, it did set a new Olympic record.
I watched it! They had the whole race last night as one of the highlights of the day. It was honestly a nail biter, and I may or may not have cheered so loudly I scared the cat...

Good for Hocker though. He just let them fight it out and slipped through when they were tired out.

Oh yes I know that. I've got friends in SC who love to send me alligator photos. If they ever come up to WA I think I'll move to Alaska.
