There is a time and place for shenanigans. (edit: THIS is that time and place)

Divisive? 😂 You must have never watched the Olympics at all. It is definitely not divisive. If anything, it is exactly opposite.

And, you do understand that there are World competitions every year in some sports, and certainly in track and field, which is the most interesting for me.
I used to watch the olympics all the time. Loved watching Michael Phelps kick ass in the pool. And our gymnastics girls were awesome, still are. I was talking the opening ceremonies and the boxing. They alienated 2.5 billion Christians
Maybe I don't know the meaning of the word but it was a sh!t show starting with the opening ceremony.
This. 💯This

I didn't watch the opening ceremonies, and doubt I will watch the closing. I just watch the competition, so don't know what you are referring to, and it isn't what interest me. There will always be something in everything that we will not like when it comes to an event of that size.

I didn't watch any boxing, and really didn't see any coverage of it to watch if I had wanted to. That could be why, I don't know. NBC had the coverage and I don't think they showed any of it. There was updates, but very minimal.

I do, however, know what you are referring to with the boxing. I have been trying to learn more about it just from reading. I don't know how i feel. The two look like guys for sure. But, from everything I have read, they were born female with all the parts of a female, but have the Y and produce more testosterone. That is certainly not unheard of. A slip up by mother nature. So, I don't know what the answer to that is. It doesn't seem fair to the ones they were boxing for sure. And, could be dangerous. But, also messed up for those 2 as well if not allowed to compete if that is actually true. So, I don't know what the answer to that is. The other boxers seem to accept them from what I have read. And, they have both lost plenty of matches in the past to women boxers. Even the one that quit after being punched gave support for them. I feel like you do about all that stuff, but I "think" "possibly" this is not exactly what you think it is from what I have read. It is easy to think it is something else because so much of that is going on right now. And, I am 100% against all that. Of course, something different could come out later from what I have read so far. But, speaking for 2.5 billion Christians might be a little over the top lmao
