There is a time and place for shenanigans. (edit: THIS is that time and place)

I've always wondered why people live in places like Kansas and Misery Missouri.

(I know someone from Missouri. She says when people visit, she says "Welcome to Misery".)
I often wonder why anyone lives anywhere other then Missouri but figure it's because they don't know any better.

They are wonderful places to live. I would hate the tornados, we get enough in Ohio. But I would love the acres of flat land and less people

I can see why.

I'm more of a hill person. I lived on a hill.
I bought land in WV last year and it's hilly, pretty much a ridgetop. I'm a mountain girl but I can see the desire for flat farmland as well. We plan on making our ridgetop as flat as we can, for farming. Each place has their pros and cons. What suits one person may not suit another. It just irks me when someone makes crappy comments about where someone lives. It's like telling someone their food looks gross, as they are about to eat it. It's rude

In my defense, I have friends and family in Kansas. They say the same thing. :p
I didn't say everyone would love where they lived. And if you live there, you can make all the comments you want, you have that right. Come winter, you'll hear me cussing about Ohio for months. But for someone who has never been to a state, to make comments about why that state sucks to live in it, I just find it rude
