I'm all for a well-timed spontaneous conversation (and I am guilty as charged often), but there is a timing to it. If you need attention, start your own thread.

Guilty as charged. I try not to but sometimes I just jump into a conversation not realizing what thread I’m in. And a lot of the time it ends up off topic.
