There is something going on with one of my hens. Legs are sticking straight out and setting back on

I have no idea!!! But it is so funny !!!!! But on a serious note- check her legs look/feel for broken bones check around her hips an all joints... Who knows mabe she is just trying a new way to sit

She is ill. check for lice. that will often cause such behaivors.

Whatever happened with this hen? I have a hen recovering from a dog attack. Her puncture wounds are healing well, but I believe she may have a broken pelvis. Now that she can shuffle around a little (nearly 2 weeks later), she positions herself with her legs straight back. Does anyone have any advice? At what point do you decide that they cannot recover? My vet doesn't normally work with chickens (or birds for that matter)...
