I had a lovely fall tomato planted in a pot like countedsorrow. The fruit would ripen starting at the bottoms of the plant but disappeared before I could pick them. Vern (rooster) would leap up into the air and peck at the yellow tomatoes until he could snatch them off the vine. Vile creature!!!
