Thermal Hova Bator (1602-N) vs thermal Hova Bator(1582R)

Which would be the better incubator, as far as performance? Thermal Hova Bator (1602-N) or thermal Hova Bator(1582R) both are thermal incubators and i plan on putting a computer power supply fan or CPU fan in it.

the 1582 looks to already have a fan in it. there located in the center of the lid. so i would go with it.

i emailed and asked them and its just a still air air model with a bigger lid, neither include a fan, both use the wafer style thermostat, the only difference i can see is the lid. just wondering if the model design would make a difference in hatching. (only need it for a few eggs)

i use a 1602 with a fan. does a fine job.

The only difference seems to be a bigger viewing window. Unless you gotta have that big window, take the cheaper one. I have a newer one and one from the 1980s and love them both equally. I put a PC fan in my new one.

dose anyone know if you should have the fan blowing on the lid or downward on the eggs?
