what can i stick on the end of my bresea spot therm probe to simulate the inside of an egg? I have 3 and they seem to read 2-3 degrees lower then the incubators therm does.

Silly putty? Clay would dry out. Make a big silicone ball?

I go for those silicon goo that never hardens but also remain very pliable, can’t remember what it’s called can be found on glue section of paint department at a local hardware store.

Do you let it set up on the probe? Does that make it stick to the probe, or maybe a release agent so the probe could be pulled back out?
