It worked for me. It’s a new and expensive thermostat in my house so I’ll say it’s good. Of course everyone has different experiences. I was just sharing mine, not that I’m vouching for any specific thermometer.

I get you. I did look up that thermometer on Amazon and had good reviews but if you click on the 1 and 2 star reviews, some of them talked about it being inaccurate. I'm not necessarily bad mouthing the thermometer but it just goes to my position that you can't rely on any thermometer, thermostat or hygrometer that hasn't been verified by calibration.

I 100% agree with you. I think it’s a good cheap thermometer, but I would definitely recommend one that can be calibrated.
