i am buying a reptile thermostat that dims the light rather than switching it off its one that u plau the light power cord into the it plugs the socket and has a probe that goes inside that bator and the main unit stays outside. i was wondering do u have the thermostat probe inside the water wiggler or outside the water wiggler???
