Thermostats reading different temperatures

I’m not sure which temperature to trust, I have 2 Hovabator Genesis running at a set temp of 99.5 but my thermometer from incubator warehouse says it’s 101.5 sometimes higher in both incubators. I also have an eggometer from incubator warehouse which is also reading 101.5 or more in both. Should I turn the incubator down or just trust the incubator thermostat?

Trust the thermometers that you already have. Not the incubator.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I didn't realize you had separately purchased thermometers already in your incubators.

You can test the thermometer you have the same way that's in the link I posted above.

I do the salt atleast 12 hours, 24 is best. The temp usually a hour just to see if gets where it's supposed to be and stays.

Do not trust what the incubator says.

I don't have the egg one I just have the incutherm with probe.

Salt test does nothing for a thermometer. Only humidity gauges.

Yep thats why I said put it in a sandwich bag in ice water.
