They look great but they're very pricey. I agree that you can build something for less money yourself but my DIY skills are so poor that it would never look like that. I built a chicken ark where I got the plans off the internet, and though it looks ok and is functional, it's no work of art. It also meant that I could spend money where I considered it to be important i.e. the wire. Having lost my flock to foxes I really wanted to keep the new lot safe so spent big on wire and cheap on everything else.

I would post pictures but it's too embarassing!
