A bit of a better shot of my new little one. I'm not convinced it's an EE. I got this one out of the straight run bin along with a black silkie I couldn't pass up. It makes sense that the others are sex links as they were all in the pullet bin. I am having so much fun with these little fuzz balls but my laundry room is over-run with 2 different brooders and 12 chickens total!

I hatched out some bantams last yr and it very well could be a Silverduckwing bantam. If so you will be very happy with it.They are very beautiful birds.

If your TSC gets chicks from Privett like mine does, your chipmunk chick cannot be a welsummer. They don't have welsummer bantums.
I got two that were marked like that. My research shows that they are either OEGB or Dutch. Privett has both as bantums and both look like the chipmunk chick. I'm leaning towards OEGB my own self.
Oddly enough, of the two I got that I thought were identical, one is now about twice the size of the other. The big one has dark legs, while the tiny one has yellow legs. I'm still guessing that the little one is an OEGB (it looks just like the one in the pics above.). Any guesses on the bigger one? It still looks like the pics above except that the browns are a little warmer.
Chew593, it looks like we have some of the same kind of chicks.
So the orange-ish chick is a Golden Comet? She does have two stripes going down her back even though it is hard to see in some of the pics above.
Here she is posing for a portrait.
I got two of the little striped ones, they have very different faces...
This one is lighter all over and has a lot of markings on her face
This one is very dark and has a black stripe across her eye
I was told they were Speckled Sussex chicks
Any guesses as to what this one is? She(?) was the only black chick in the pullet bin... BETTER be a pullet! I was told she is a Black Australorp
Take in consideration that this is a pic using a flash. The chick is actually very black with yellowish markings.
I wonder if the employees at TSC know what they're talking about. That little black one you have is a Barred Rock. Looks just like the ones we got at TSC 5 weeks ago. (yellow spot on head right?) Very sweet bird.
The one with the stripes could very well be a sussex... we shall see how it grows up!
