First time chicken owner and I'm confused and slightly worried by some comb developmental differences of a couple birds. We ordered all pullets (can't have roosters). Most of them have comb development at 4 weeks old but two seem to have a wider comb and only a couple points near the top. Should I be concerned or wait and watch?

Close! I should've specified breed. They're Barred Plymouth Rock. Here are a couple full pictures. #2 has the more developed comb

:welcome The first bird is a Dominique - not a barred rock. The second has a single comb, and may be a barred rock. Where did you get them? It's possible that they may be cross bred birds of some sort.
We ordered through our local Farm and Fleet store and so far no problems at all, very healthy happy birds. We did wind up with an extra - regular policy in case one doesn't make it, I guess - and we did specify all Barred Rocks. Though I wouldn't mind if we wound up with two different breeds.
