Our RIR chicks have never been that light. I'm guessing Marans but not sure.Do you know what breed these chicks could be. I bought them at auction as Rhode Island Red eggs. This is what hatched from these beautiful dark brown eggs.

I have one rir, good hardy bird she is!Thank you! My mom wanted RIRs and the beautiful big dark eggs would be a bonus. I’ve never seen them this light and dark eggs.
Yes, for sure! But, she looks more creme than white....They kind of look like delawares. So maybe a delaware cross or something!

Nice sig!Never seen RIR chicks or eggs like that. At a quick glance they could be mistaken for Wheaton Marans, but upon closer look the legs are wrong. Looking forward to updates
RIRs can have that pattern on their first wing feathers so I wouldn't rule it out yet. Update in a week or two. I suspect you'll be getting some red feathers coming in soon
Usually the chicks are still at least red though? These ones appear white. I’ve seen that pattern too on them too but the chicks are still red. I was going to say maybe Rhode Island White? But now this the latest update idk. That^
