They’ve invented auto chicken doors - I’m looking to ...

Hello Everyone,
Im not sure that anyone makes what I’m looking for - maybe one of you might know.
If it’s not made by someone- I am pretty mechanical- I’ll make it myself with all the parts/ hardware.
I would like to be able to have an automatic ( on a timer) hydraulic opener on my Run Door.
34” wide x. 84” high - you can see it on profile picture- total weight of door - approx. 16 lbs.
anyone have any ideas.

I know that there are automatic coop doors of different styles. The farm store I work at got one in this year, though I don’t recall it’s specs. You could try lookin at tractor supply co, rural king or family farm and home’s websites to see what they have. Could give you some ideas or maybe they might have something that would work?

Some of the hydraulics that come with automatic chicken doors claim to be able to handle that much weight. I don't know if they are really that substantial though as they sell them with doors that weigh about 2 lbs.
