Is the sound in the video a call from the females? because the call of the male tuxedo and that of the male traditional Chinese painted quail have a different call. I started on November 22, 2024 when I acquired two pairs of quail, one tuxedo and the other cinnamon.

Yeah, the sound your bird makes in the video sounds like a female. Males usually have a long one-note "peeeeew" while females have a series of shorter high-pitched "pew-pew-pew" that sounds a bit like they are laughing.
