Sorry the photo is such bad quality...I will get better tomorrow when I go hang out with them. This was taken about 5 minutes after they were released into the pen. They went right up to the fence to see the Pilgrims (Simeon & Anna) & Skully the special needs Toulouse. I'm praying that they will stay inside the fence because of them.🙏🙏🙏

Aww no, what's wrong with poor old Skully?
Strange...I typed a reply once before, but it never posted!🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyhow, Skully was a child's pet who was born with a crooked spine. When mom & child decided to move back to the lower 48, their flock of birds (chickens, geese. turkey, etc) were sold. Mom feared someone would simply butcher Skully, so she begged me to adopt her. Goose fearing little old me agreed, & the rest is history! 😁 She is THE reason I decided to give geese another chance, as she is an absolute sweetheart! ❤

Ohhhhh what a good person, yes i would worry poor skully would be butchered too, very few people wilp want a disabled animal :( good for you!
Why THANK you for that lovely, kind post!💐❤ It took me about a week to lose my fear of her, she knows her name & would answer me whenever I called her. She was raised with ducks, so she fit in perfectly with my bunch. She's been with us about 6 or 7 yrs now & you should have seen her face when she heard another goose for the first time last year! It was priceless!🤭😁😂
