I have two small dogs that are around the size that yours should be. My 10 pound dog would eat ¼ a cup (before we switched him to wet food for other reasons) and my 6 pound Yorkie eats about a half of ¼ cup.
Yours may even need less depending on the brand of food. Usually they'll have some feeding guidelines for you.

Y'all would be saving so much money on feeding all your animals the proper amount that they need.

Look, Mutchi, I know you're young, and technically this should not be your responsibility. However, as your parents are clearly not taking any action, you have to do it yourself.
We are telling you that your dogs are overweight and you are feeding them too much. So, instead of trying to convince people that your dogs are fine, listen to the advice that is being given. Ask your parents for permission to start feeding the dogs yourself. Then reduce the amount of feed you are giving them.
Give them 1/4 cup each, twice a day. If they don't eat it after 30 minutes, take it away. They will learn that they need to eat when the food is put down.
In addition to the reduced amount of food, make sure they get plenty of exercise. Take them for walks. Play fetch. Just get them moving.

I'm sure they will let you. And if they don't you can always take some food out of the bowl when they're not looking.

I've always been the animal care taker. ALWAYS. it doesn't matter who's animal it is, if its brought into the house, it becomes my issue. My parents love putting responsibility onto somebody else, most parents do
