I am so excited! My very first fairy egg! I was beginning to think it was just a joke and they didn’t really exist,... but I’ve now seen it with my own eyes! Haha! So cute.

My very first egg was a teeny little 17 gram thing of beauty. I blew out the shell to save it forever. Are you going to save yours?

Mine had yolk and white in it. Just not very much! They are so cute. The picture has an egg from the same girl and weighs 47 grams. She has the smallest eggs of my hens. But, her name is Little, so it fits. :gig

I always heard those called "Swan Song" eggs. Usually laid at or near the end of the hen's laying months. I have also seen them with yolk, if you let those eggs dry up before you crack it open the yolk becomes hard.

The one who laid mine was only 5 months old, it was like her 2nd or 3rd egg so definitely not the end of her laying.
