All they do is stand on it and poop all day because it takes up alot of my very small run,so I took it out and they're fine with out it, and they have much more free space
They can jump to the floor and jump back in with out and struggling

see the door isnt high from the ground

Aw :/
we had to build a very high budget fence to keep my dog away

haha it gets the job done :)

I don't use a traditional ramp either and the entrance hole is about 30" off the ground. Instead, I installed a thick branch with a nearly-ninety degree bend in it. Essentially, it serves as a landing platform. They hop up and down easily. And I did this for the same reason -- it takes up very little space in the run compared to the long ramp I'd need otherwise. I know someone on here has their pop door hinged at the bottom and the door serves as a landing platform. I think that's also a good option.

my ramp fell off, and all my girls were stuck upstairs and refused to jump (less than a foot) it was kinda funny, but they were really not amused lol

I guess it depends on the chickens...my silkies would be lost without their ramp :(
