They drank chocolate milk

I hope they feel alright. It would be great if you could send out an update tomorrow on how they're doing.
Checked on em a couple times throughout the night and they seemed fine. 1st thing this morning (3am) before I went to work I checked on em again and they were all looking good. Didn’t even see any diarrhea droppings on the ground. Hopefully they are all still doing good when I get home from work this afternoon noon.

Great! I'm pretty sure they would be showing signs of illness by now so sounds like no serious harm was done.

Yes nothing I could see on the outside idk about internally. but the stuff I found on the internet made me think I was going to find all my hens dead. I was pretty worried.

I'm sorry. Chocolate is definitely toxic but I bet it was so diluted in the milk, it wasn't enough to poison. If it makes you feel better, when I was younger I had a little Maltese that managed to climb the counter and eat an ENTIRE bag of chocolate chips. I came home and he looked like he was on his death bed. He bounced right back later that day after some fluids. The vet didn't even have to pump his stomach because he threw it all up himself.

That doesn’t make me feel better lol. Makes me sad for the puppy.

R.J., so happy to hear it sounds like your babies will be ok. It seems to be more toxic in canines than poultry. As others have said, you probably would have seen signs of illness by now.

Yes I got very lucky, you wouldn’t think it would be toxic to chickens. I had to google it since I knew it was bad for dogs. And I was surprised about what I found. My wife was more worried than I was coz she felt so responsible l. She knows how much I take care of my chickens. We are all very relieved and happy they are all perfectly fine. Thanks y’all for all the help
