They figured it out!

Finally, after 5 long months my ducks have figured out how to use their coop ramp . I know that seems ridiculous, but oh boy. I tried to show them so many different ways, even with treats and they hated it. Tried lowering it too, etc.

A few days ago as I was cleaning out the pen & pond, Raspberry jumped onto the ramp and ran down, then flew over to me! I thought maybe it was a mistake, but now they're both going in and out of it. So happy. I've been manually putting them away for months (I don't mind).

Just wanted to celebrate here .

No, believe it or not . Literally level with the ground. There's a 2x4 under the door part so I built a little ramp that goes up. Barely even raised. They just hated it!

That's funny

Mine used to flip and flop over the 4 inch wall, and for a while I considered making a ramp but they got the hang of it eventually.

It's always funny to watch ducks be so graceful on water and then watch them be so troubled with something as simple as walking once they're on land.
