I'm sure that will work because I have done a few that way also outside on the side burner of the grill , and yea The first time I Did broiler chickens I said I wasn't going to do it again either

Yea Ive done it 3 X now and I'm sure I will again when My freezer is empty The only thing next time I will have built the tub plucker , No more Drill plucking For My arm's they still Hurt.

Yup - me too! My last 1/2 of my first set is going to the processors on saturday - and my new cornish cross babies are coming either tomorrow or friday I sold a lot more than I expected to from the first set, and worried that I was only going to have 8 chickens in my freezer when all was said and done (from 27!).
