I was almost tempted to bring that back inside for one more night.... but after working on this coop in every spare minute for the last 4 weeks, my husband talked some sense into me. : )

and they lived.... *sigh*

I think I need some more baby chicks.
 
Nope. Don't do it. Take a look at my post about How not to move chicks from the brooder. It is just a hassle to have more than one group of young ones at a time. Take advise from an old hen, wait till the little ones are full grown before starting more. It's a lot easier on the nerves!

I agree they look so small when moved. After I moved my little leghorns into the grow pen this morning, they looked so small and lost in there. Poor babies.

I had to go out and check on them before I went to bed....just to make sure everything was okay. Congrats on the big move!
