First time with bantam cochins

our flock is fairly docile. we were getting the bantams to keep our polish hen company since she has no one to play with or hang out she spends most of her time hiding from the flock. since she is small im hoping if we get bantams shell have some friends.

Have you tried trimming her crest? Sometimes what seems like shyness can partly be caused by not being able to see very well.

i just really want bantam cochins since we got our first cochins and i learned there were smaller versions of them

That wasn't a suggestion of something to do instead of getting bantams; if her feathers are getting in the way of her vision then it would probably be good to give them a trim no matter who she's living with.
