they made it through the night!

i was so worried leaving them outside for their first night. my boyfriend thought i was being crazy, but i checked on them several times throughout the night. i had a heat lamp in there and i put them all to bed. this morning when i came out to check on them, it was sprinkling out and they all came runnning to the front of their run to greet me. i think they're enjoying their new home.

Scary putting them out by themselves isn't it???? I did the same thing. Its such a relief to see them each morning. Beautiful chicks by the way!

Glad they are ok! Mine made it through their first night in the coop last night too. I'm afraid they did better than I did with their first night

I am right there with you. I left mine out last night for the first time. I could barely sleep. I was so worried about what I might find this morning. When I went out they looked at me like "What?"
It's like being the mama with empty nest syndrom isn't it.
