Does the cold weather affect the egg laying or is it just the lack of sunlight? In years past I always put a heat light in the coop but I don't think it's cold enough for that yet. Maybe in years past I was just misunderstanding the lack of production.

14-16hours ..... as I'm in the UK I use lights on a timer.
