4 weeks 2 days old. 85 out today. They been in the coop for 48 hours and I opened the door to the run for the first time. It's been 3 hours and not one of them have chosen to make the move. I'm not going to force them. Just making an observation. I like that the runt of the group got the closest.

Mine have had their first run of the yard today too, after their first 48 out in their coop. They didn't brave it outside until about an hour after the door was opened, and it was my runt Mabel that led the pack haha.

They stayed outside happily pecking and poking around for about twenty minutes then all filed back in to the coop. Baby steps.

The door has been open for 7 hours today. No one has made a move. They will stick their head out but won't take that first step. If the run was level with the door I feel like they would have by now. It's those scary steps down.
