Ok, I got the confirmation that the hatchery shipped my chicks yesterday. They were accepted up in St. Paul, MN this morning at 3:25 and are due in my PO on Monday. Should I be worried about a 3 day shipping time. My stomach is in knots. Someone please comfort me. We have been waiting for over a month for my top hats.

It sometimes takes 3 days for chicks to arrive. Just have everything ready to go in their brooder and hopefully, you will receive an early morning call.

You could call the distribution center/hub in the morning and pick them up. My chicks from McM shipped last Saturday and I called my distribution center (Albany, NY) early Sunday morning and they went and looked for them and gave me a call back. They were in, so they asked if I wanted THEM to deliver them to my house (an hour away). I had my chicks by Sunday afternoon.

It is worth the phone call!

How did you find out what your distribution center is. I would definately try to call them in the morning. What a smart thought you had.

When I get my shipping confirmation, I'm going to go to my post office in person and let them to the chicks are on the way.

Well I knew my distribution center was in Albany, so I used google - which took a little while with trying to word it every way possible. I eventually found this link:

Towards the bottom of the page is a list of District Post Offices. The number that is listed for mine went right to the voicemail, but it was the right place. I googled for a different number and was able to get right through. Sorry I wasn't able to reply sooner - I hope you were able to find the information needed.

This has turned out to be a very useful bit of information. I will be calling ours tomorrow as well. I am

for the OP's little fuzzies. Keep us posted!

Mine shipped from MYP on Monday April 4th at 9:30 PM from I believe Ohio and were sent via plane. They arrived in JFK international and were delivered by truck to my PO by 11:30 am Tue morning. I was very , very ,very happy with the service and delivery from MPC. I can't recommend them enough. Chicks can ship for three days with out food and water. The biggest problem is lack of heat. I hope yours all arrive in good health! Enjoy your new chicks.
