They will be ok right?

Even here, in the pacific NW coast, where the combination of rain and wind will kill a grown man quick; predators, imho, should be a chicken keepers #1 concern...

ME, from a different thread :

Well; here is a pic of a make-shift, thrown together, temporary brooder we made last minute:

It resides below our future coop. We simply skirted three sides with 1/4in plywood and one side with glass. One side is on hinges, for access. We put a piece of foamboard over the glass at night... This pic was taken when the chicks were approx one week old

I put mine in the outdoor chicken mansion when they were 3 days old. With a heat lamp. As long as the electricity does not go out they will be fine. I check sometimes at 4 am. Temps are in the 40ies. They are all happy.

I just moved mine off the back porch today into a 4x4 space in the coop for chicks and newcomers to get introduced to the flock when they get a bit bigger and the fence pecking is done they will be integrated into the flock. All my girls are pretty sweet even the dominant one. she squaks a couple times and a couple pecks at the feeder to let them know who is boss and they all live happily ever after.

Mine were in the house for 2 months!!!! Don't ask. They've been outside for 3 weeks now and they are doing great. It's been down to 35F a couple of nights. We still have a heat lamp on in the coop, but we're in for some cold nights here in the PNW this week <32F). They are outside all day and go into the coop themselves now at dusk. They are sheltered from the wind and rain and keep flying over into the ducks run. It's pretty funny, because the ducks all jump in their pool when they come in and refuse to come out until they are gone. When the ducks get into the chicken run, the chickens all huddle into a corner. When the gate is closed, they all (ducks and chickens) snuggle up together with the gate between them.....Go figure....
