They won't go in the yard now =(

I like to let my birds in the backyard on nice days so they can have "grass time" and eat bugs and all that since their current area is a big muddy mess with no grass. Well after our rescue dog got out and attacked them they are now scared to be in the yard. I put them in the yard yesterday and as soon as I closed the door they were at the gate wanting back into their area. They usually will sit out there for HOURS and forage. *sigh* Guess they get to stay in their area till we move(in a month). I tried enticing them more into the yard with yummy treats(peas) but they wanted nothing of it.

I see that. It's a good thing we're moving and they will have a new yard to play in. Keena(rescue dog) is NOT allowed near them or when they are out unless she's on leash and fully controlled. Don't want this to happen again.
