They're getting close!

I am going crazy waiting for my pullets to start laying. They are currently 25 weeks old. 3 days ago a few would squat and spread their wings when I touched them. Yesterday they squatted and spread their wings when I walked into the coop without touching them. Also I caught 2 of them in the nesting boxes scratching and spinning around! How much longer do you think I have to go before I get my first egg?

That's hard to say exactly, but it won't be long.

One day soon, you'll walk into the coop and see that first glorious egg in the nest box! What an exciting feeling.

i dont think it will be too long i got my first egg 2 days ago all doing the same things as yours and another one today so get ur frying pan ready mines are 23 to 25 weeks old rsl
