I had 2 hatch early this morning. One of them the kids got to watch before getting ready for school, which was fun! I've got a webcam up so I can keep an eye on them from work:

I had my camera set up last night to take a picture every 45 seconds. I took those pictures and made a time-lapse. Its not as good as I hoped, but its still pretty cool.

yes, it is. It was there this morning, but it wasn't big enough to see on the camera. Hopefully, its starting to zip and that is why its showing up now!

and would love to do this.

What program did you use? If you don't mind me asking.

for the live video I used ustream which is a web-based stream so no program needed. For the time-lapse I used the logitech software and auto-click. I set up auto-click to take a picture and save it on the logitech software every 45 seconds. I think if I had to do it again I'd go down to 30 seconds. Then I took the 600 or so pics and picked about 150 of them that had the hatch in it and used windows movie maker to make the movie using these instructions: http://www.tucows.com/article/2058

Looks
like the 3rd one hatched while I was at lunch. It zipped and hatched in less than an hour! I was hoping to get on and press the record button when it was starting to go, but I missed it. Maybe I'll get the next one.
