Well, she didnt make it

She was taking the sugar water fine... then a min ago as I was preparing to offer it to her again, she just convulsed in my hand for a sec and passed away very fast

I am so sad

I knew this might happen....but at least for a little while she knew she was loved...I hope.

All the others are doing wonderful atm... very fat, sassy, hyperactive chicks..so shouldnt be an issue with any others I don't think.

Sorry about the chick. After raising upwards of 50 healthy chicks this year, I had FIVE die in the last shipment. They just never thrived despite doing everything right. Sometimes it just happens.

I won't.... i got batteries a few mins ago, and am waiting for DH to get home and see his new chick-children and bring home the camera

If they arent up tonight they should be tomorrow!

I swear they look like fuzzy little golf balls!!

You did the best thing for the one that didn't make it and I'm so sorry to hear that widdle chickie didn't make it.

I can't wait to see how they look and watch them grow.
