Just rain today. The pens are a mucky, disgusting mess, but no severe weather, thank goodness. Anyway, after loading the Hova with 42 eggs in a cool room, which always makes it hard to stablize to my satisfaction, both bators are humming along beautifully and we are now set to wait till first candling. I think I'll candle all except the Welsummers next Saturday, Day 9. Those dark beauties, I may wait a few more days, because there's no way I'd see any light veining in them. I'll candle for clears, then may not candle those again at all till Day 18, to be sure none have expired. I just have to remember my hand-turning, I'm so used to the Hovabator turner doing it for me, that I'm afraid I'll forget to turn the ones in the Fridge-a-Bator.
