Yeah, it's the same Jim. I'll check the eggs when they arrive. Hopefully I'll at least get a few of each (Cuckoo Marans and Blue Orps) to hatch, then I can add to them when Cyn's eggs come in the spring.

Cyn, I know what you mean about having trouble hatching pullets! In my last 2 hatches I got all roos!!!!! What are the odds?!!!! I'm thinking about emailing Jim and asking him to send me only female eggs!!!!

Denna, how are your Serama eggs doing? Have they hatched yet?

Lori, next time you get Serama eggs get them from the gent I got mine from, 9 have hatched and about 4 more eggs are cheeping..

Okay.. photos,, but they are kinda gross.. they seem to be hatched out with alot more blood than normal chickens.. kinda gorry

Wow, that is an unusually bloody hatch! Hmm. My hatches have almost always been pretty clean. At least they hatched!

AMEN, awfully bloody, not sure if that is normal for seramas?? ... just had 2 more hatch.. out of 33 so far 15 have hatched, one crawled out of his shell then died but the other 14 are doing great, crawling all over :O)
