Oh ok I was just worried that it's gonna mess with the others. Thank youLeave it until it’s fluffed up. It can stay in there for up to 48 hours. It shouldn’t hurt the others running around.
The biggest mistake I ever made was helping the chicks out of their shell after seeing them struggle all day. They will rest and keep pecking until they push themselves out. Often we try to pull one out only to find the egg sac full of nutrients that the baby was already getting. If that bag is still on the chick leave it alone to try to survive. Most healthy chicks get out on their own.Today is day 20 and I've got 2 eggs of my 17 that are pipping. I'm so worried they're going to expire while hatching. What do yall do to pass the time and not stand at your bator watching them?
Got a brood box and clamp on light to keep them warm in a box with a little water snd food. That light will keep them warm. If you have an older stuffed animalLeave it until it’s fluffed up. It can stay in there for up to 48 hours. It shouldn’t hurt the others running around.
Not sure I was given them from a local farm. The hens I saw were all white if that helpsCongrats! What breed(s) are you hatching?
