They're pipping and im soooo nervous

Today is day 20 and I've got 2 eggs of my 17 that are pipping. I'm so worried they're going to expire while hatching. What do yall do to pass the time and not stand at your bator watching them?

I had the same problem on my first hatch I would just stare at my incubator. That's a tough question for me for the first time just have to relax everything will happen in the right time and if you have any problems just contact one of us and will help you Good luck congratulations on your two pips

Put drops in your eyes so they don't dry out as you stare at the incubator.

I study, read, watch some videos, go outside and spend more time with the other chickens/quails, stress eat, too

Go do your regular chores. They will hatch when they are ready. Mine started pipping early yesterday morning. First one come out of his shell late last night. Woke up to a bunch of chicks this morning. Would have missed out on a day of getting stuff done if I sat and watched all day.

You've heard the saying "a watched pot never boils." Same applies to hatching eggs.
