They've got all this room for roosting and yet....

I go in to close the coop for the night and here are all eight of them:

At least they're roosting on their own now and I don't have to move each one of them out of the nesting boxes every night!

I usually cover my nest boxes until they’re ready to lay, otherwise they keep pooping in them.

Lol mine do that too, but I only have one long roost and they are all bunched up together

Right?! Haha the best part is I worked so hard to make a lot of really low roost space for them because three are bantams and then the big cochins aren't known for being comfortable with heights either haha... I've got a few polish and silkies coming up now too....of course, no one wants anything to do with the low roost space!
