i received 7 eggs on the 5th of January, they were laid on the 1-3 of January. I went to candle them on the 9th, and I can’t see anything. I contacted the seller and found out the eggs had thick shells, but can still hatch. How can I see the progress of the eggs if I can’t candle them. Please help

You are more likely to successfully hatch healthy chicks if you put them in the incubator and leave them alone.
The constant handling of eggs not only means the conditions in the incubator may fluctuate unnecessarily but disturbing the orientation of the eggs can give long term health problems for any that hatch.

This is my 1st time hatching, and I’m attempting to hatch under my hen, I used my phone light. My actual candler is coming tomorrow. My incubator is warming up, I just got it last night.

Read Sally Sunshine's article Hatching 101 ... When you get your incubator, calibrate the temp & humidity. When you receive the shipped eggs, let them "stand" in an egg carton, pointy side down & wide side (air cell) up for at least 24hrs. OR are they already under your hen?

They are under the hen. I put them after they arrived.
