Hello I recently hatched my first batch of quails from thieving otters, I'm just curious if anybody knows which variety these are. I know they're coturnix quail but what variety and if anybody can tell if any are roosters or hens

Most of them are not feather sexable, and the few that are we need clear pictures of heads and chests to tell.

Thieving Otter has several unique colour patterns/variations, so you may want to contact them.

I just hatched some of their mixed eggs, scroll through their varieties to get an idea on what they might be, but wait until 4 weeks to be sure. Looks like scarlet, Rosetta, a silver/Andalusian bird, either Italian or jumbo pansy on the yellowish ones, and maybe an American pansy (black feathers edged in white, some red on head) and some sort of wild type.
