I’ve noticed a little while back my almost 4 year old hen’s belly bone was apparent. I didn’t think much of it because she was molting, but today i’ve felt it again and it’s MUCH more prominent. It’s almost like it’s popping out?? She’s not lethargic or anything, acts completely fine, when i go and let them out of the run she comes running and scratches around in the grass, i see her drink water too. When i felt her crop today it was a little full, like any other hen. She doesn’t lay anymore. I wormed her a few months ago. I lost a hen a couple months back and there were these tiny little bugs all over her after she passed. They don’t match the description of mites though so i really don’t know what they were, but i saw them on myself after handing this thin hen, i don’t see them anymore. Anyway, she’s currently healing from bumblefoot (almost completely healed) I don’t know if any of these factors have anything to do with what’s going on with her, but i’m lost?

Maybe your previous hen had lice? There are several different types of lice and mites. I don't know what to do about a thin hen

Maybe she did, i really have no clue. I wish i could’ve saved her, but if this hen is going through the same thing i don’t want to lose her too. She seems fine otherwise so i really don’t know.
