thin or no shell on my hens eggs

I am hoping someone can explain why my silkie hen who is two and a half and is laying eggs without shells or very thin shelled eggs, she is given layer pellets and oyster shell and never had a problem before, until this past month.

I had the same exact problem it is a lack of calcium. What you can do is you can get her some oyster shells and in about a week her eggs will be back to normal. It is best until she has normal eggs to stop putting the layer pellets in her pen. I hope this works.
