We have 10 pullets that just started laying nice brown eggs. However 1 of the chickens is laying eggs with a really thin shell and normally breaks when touched. The chickens are about 4 months old.

Any ideas ?

Is there something that it needs in its food.

Had the same problem with some of my chickens. I mix Lamb-Lac (a lamb milk replacer) 1/2 cup into their egg layer and some warm water to oatmeal consistency and feed it to them every day for a couple of weeks. I now just give it to them 2 days a week and it has helped harden the shells.
