Thin shells - hereditary?

10 days of ACV in their water, and Henrietta still lays eggs with a shell so thin, they sometimes break. If I catch her laying, and take it away, I can save it.
Friendly on the other hand (or should I say claw?), has started laying again, after months of not laying. Her eggs mostly just fall out during roosting. I find them in the morning. No shell to hers, just membrane.
Don’t know if her laying was triggered by the ACV or not.
Next I am going to try Caltrate.
