Snow is good for... insulation (our heating costs go down with a nice thick layer, and I'll think about water damage in the spring, should it ever arrive). The dog plays very goofily in snow, she's a southern belle. More family is home, more of the time. And...

I was going to build my coop in the WRONG PLACE! Thanks to all this snow, I can see now that I need to place it so that I can get access from the driveway, and not be shoveling an extra 75 foot path to the more picturesque spot I had planned. The knowledge is worth all... ...uh, most ...well, *some* of this misery, anyway.

Hang in there, everybody, the days are getting longer and this will end!

Snow would be a lot better if it weren't for the cold that seems to accompany it. That I could do without.

posting pictures of it on FB to my sister - who looooves snow but lives where it doesn't snow. - and teasing her about it.

it provides water for our reserviors so we can have water for the summer.

Lots of entertainment watching my pugs jump through the snow.

but...I do not like it when I have to work - because the snow plows did not get to our street is NO EXCUSE for not showing up at work (I am an RN)!

Well I like to paint, so get out the watercolors and paint it with a spray bottle or one of those hose thingys that you use to fertilize your garden with.
