Anybody remember Stretch Armstrong or when taping over on a cassette tape you could use scotch tape over the holes to record. OHHHH and the crusty gum in the packs of baseball cards!!!!! It would break your teeth out trying to get it soft enough to chew, but it was soooo good. Oh and I remember when if you burned your mouth on coffee or hot cocoa from a restaurant the only good thing that came of it was not being able to taste peas for a week. I also remember being able to walk 5 miles home from school. Drive-In theaters were still around and they still skated your food out to you at Sonic. Oh but thankfully no more glass mercury thermometers.
I remember a lot of this. I also remember being in second grade when the Space Shuttle Challenger Blew up..we where watching it on tv that morning. Pink Panther was the one cartoon that would shut me up..Loney Tunes Cartoons. Tom and Jerry Cartoons, and when we actually taught stuff in school.
Stretch Armstrong, Rubix cubes, the big league chew bubble gum, playing outside and knew if we heard mom whistle we better get home asap, spin the bottle, using tin cans and a string for a phone. We only had one phone for years then we up graded to two phones, on was in the kitchen hanging on the wall and the other one was in my parents room, kerplunk, atari games
